| My love for boxers started when my parents brought home
a brindle female pup who was just 8 weeks old when I was also 8
weeks old. From that day forward, I 've always had a boxer in my life.
They have been my protector, my friend, my pillow, and my teacher.
My parents did not show their boxers, but my father always insisted that their ears were cropped as he loved the look. When I was able, I purchased my "very own" boxer. I named her Cherish (after "our" song). I didn't crop her ears. My father would always tease whenever he'd "fursit" for me that he'd have those ears cropped and up by the time I came back. *g* Cherish lived to be 12-1/2 years old -- we lost her the end of 1998 due to complications from Cushings Disease. We experienced life without a boxer for 6 months. Emma, our Tibetan Terrier, was lonely. We were lonely. Well, *I* was definitely lonely. Mr. Cherished Boxers felt that Cherish was perfect -- and any other boxer could not possibly compare. So, we compromised. I went searching for a new boxer puppy and brought home a beautiful little fawn girl on May 21, 1999. The compromise was.....ummmm.....oops, I knew I forgot something~!! Our new little girl is Tempo's Cherished Madison, and she's a real pistol. You will find lots of pictures of her here, reports on her days in the show ring, pictures of her family, friends and whatever else can be uploaded. Hmmm......do I smell pizza? ;)
